This qualification is for persons working or planning to work in the construction industry. A person with this qualification will be able to carry out a range of construction work at technician level including planning and organizing work sites construction of buildings, roads and highways, water supply and irrigation

(an English foundation programme will be conducted within the course)

  • Certificate NVQ Level 5 (Diploma)
 
Entry Qualifications
  • Age should not be less than 17 years as at Closing date
  • G. C. E. (O/L) Examination in Six (06) subjects in not more than two sittings.
  • Six (06) subjects should be:
    • Sinhala/Tamil/English Language
    • mathematics and Science
    • Three other subjects

Or

  • Should have obtained NVQ 3/4 qualification for relevant field
